Terms of service

Last updated 17 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between your business and Studio (“Studio”, “we”) for the website, booking and related services. By starting a subscription you accept them on behalf of your business.

The service

We build and host a website for your practice and, depending on your plan, a booking dashboard with calendar, client records, forms and reminders. We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove a core part of your plan without telling you first.

Plans and payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, in the currency shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes.
• You can change plan or cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; after the first 30 days the current period is not refunded unless the law requires it.
• If a payment fails we will email you and retry. If it stays unpaid we may pause your site and dashboard until it is settled.
• A domain bought through us is registered in your business’s name where the registry allows, and you can move it away at any time.

Refunds

Everything you pay in your first 30 days, the setup fee and the first plan payment included, is refunded in full if you ask within 30 days of paying, no questions asked. Write to us or cancel from your billing page and say you want the refund; it goes back to the card you paid with. A domain registered in your name stays yours.

Your content and your clients

You own your content, your domain and your clients’ records. You give us permission to host and display your content to run the service. You are responsible for what you publish, for the accuracy of prices and claims, and for collecting your clients’ information lawfully, including any consent your profession or province requires. Forms and waivers we provide are templates; have them reviewed for your practice.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, send spam, publish misleading health claims, or interfere with the service or other customers. We may suspend accounts that do.

Not medical or legal advice

The service is software. Nothing in it, including the AI assistant, is medical, legal or financial advice.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running and backed up but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost bookings.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time. We can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or straight away for serious breach. Either way you can export your data before your account closes; see the privacy policy for what happens to it afterwards.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you by email at least 14 days before a change that affects you materially. Questions: hello@healthstudio.dev.
